Sheridan College, Ontario Founded In 1967, Sheridan was one of Ontario’s leading post-secondary institutions, attracting students from across Canada and around the world. 


The Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, previously called Sheridan College of Applied Arts and Technology, commonly known as Sheridan College, is a diploma, certificate, and degree-granting polytechnic institute in Ontario, with approximately 23,000 full-time students and 17,000 continuing education students. Founded in 1967, located in the city of Oakville, Ontario, Canada, the college offers programs in animation and illustration, creative writing and publishing, music, theater, film and design, business, applied computer, engineering technology, and community and liberal studies.[ There are campuses in Oakville, Brampton, and Mississauga.


Sheridan College has three campus locations, all in the Greater Toronto Area – Oakville (Main campus), Mississauga, and Brampton.
Oakville is a town in southern Ontario, located in Halton Region on Lake Ontario, halfway between Toronto and Hamilton. At its 2016 census population of 193,832, it is Ontario’s largest town. Oakville is part of the Greater Toronto Area, one of the most densely populated areas of Canada.
